C Shells Guest Quarters

Great location right in the middle of the island, very clean and lovely studio, a well maintained garden where you can relax on the hammocks. 
We had an absolutely fantastic time also thanks to the owners that made us feel at home

"We have just returned to the UK after a 2 week stay at the delightful CShells. Everything previously written about how great this place is is true! Cheryl and Jorge are the perfect hosts, very thoughtful and helpful. We had a week without a car and a week with one so got to explore the local area on foot as well as visiting the highlights of the island. We spent a lot of time seeking out bonefish wading areas and ended up having most success at nearby Thompson's Bay (there was a bit of a cold front while we were there - but still a very pleasant, sunny 25 degrees C - perfect for us!). 
The apartment was lovely - very clean, stacks of towels and information and everything you could need for self-catering. 

Salt Pond is a great location as it's the narrowest part of the island and you can visit both sides on foot. It's also very pretty, and a good central point for exploring the island in either direction. 

We would highly recomend CShells and hope to visit again in the future - it's worth the effort of getting there! Many thanks to Cheryl and Jorge for making our stay so memorable."

We chose the Cshcells in long island based on reading a positive review looking for an affordable stay on a secluded island in the Bahamas . This was our first trip to Long Island, in celebration of my spouse 30th anniversary, so we wanted a first rate trip. I have to say both Long Island and t Cshells exceeded our expectations!!! The welcoming atmosphere was set by proprietor Cheryl (along with 2 great cats that came over to greet us when we arrived to our room). Our room was extremely comfortable, clean, spacious with a well-appointed kitchen (full oven and cooktop, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, full-size fridge). Nice shower with lots of hot water. We could walk to excellent beaches although driving to the various breath taking beaches around the island is recommended. 

What was unexpected and delightful about Long Island was how friendly everyone was. We've stayed at many small inns and B&B's but seldom have we had so much fun visiting. Cheryl is excellent hosts and make sure that you have everything you need and are having fun. She knows great spots on the island and provided us great reconditions for site seeing. 

That being said, Cshells offers great sunsets and was very quiet at night, so we slept super well and we never heard anyone when we were in our room. The air conditioning worked great. Closet space was roomy enough for both of us to stow our two weeks worth of clothes and suitcases. The neighbourhood is safe and you don’t have to worry about theft. 

All and all this place was awaom and definitely recommended !!!
